Eleanor's Paintings Eleanor

I have been preoccupied with painting for the last ten years; I like to play with colour, contemplate different compositions and share my experiences with other artists. Painting has led me to observe, record and better understand my life.

When possible I sketch and paint scenes, moments, people, and objects that I feel need to be remembered and interpreted.

Since my retirement in 2000 I have enjoyed both the peace and the beauty of the water and boats of the West Coast. When sailing I always pack a water colour kit with me and the small  paintings remind me of where I have been.

The picture on the right, "Painting at Pebble Beach" is by Bob Harmer.
